Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist certification. Current unencumbered Ohio Board licensure as a Registered Nurse. Certification as an Adult-Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. Ohio Board Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Terminal degree in Public Health (PhD, DrPH). All degrees must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Applicants must demonstrate a personal faith commitment to the university’s evangelical Christian purpose. Full adherence to the evangelical mission and doctrine of Liberty University. Familiarity with and use of collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction.

Doctorate in Business from a regionally accredited institution. Successful college/university teaching experience in an online environment. Demonstrated academic leadership experience in a higher education setting. Strong understanding of discipline specific core competencies. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development. Strong assessment experience. Demonstrated experience in supporting student success. Demonstrated experience in research and knowledge of current trends in their discipline.

MSN required. DNP or PHD required. Professional nurse licensure required. Must have a minimum of five (5) year’s prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and have a minimum of three years experience in the field in which they teach. Prior experience teaching online.

Earned doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program. Knowledge and experience in culturally competent counseling and social justice initiatives that serve historically excluded communities. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with culturally competent and anti-racist curriculum development. 3+ years’ experience in clinical practice. Licensed or eligible for licensure in state of residence.
