To teach at the undergraduate level, a terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution in a relevant discipline is required. Experience teaching in a higher education setting. Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in the discipline.

Ph.D. degree from a CACREP accredited institution in Counselor Education and Supervision. Two or more years of relevant experience in counseling, counselor education, and/or supervision. Higher education, online teaching experience. Minimum of one year of direct counseling experience.

Graduate Degree in associated discipline. Previous experience teaching in post-secondary education. Documented capability to learn online learning software application(s). Ability to effectively inspire and teach students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles in online education environment.

Doctorate in Nursing such as PhD, DNP, or EdD required. Master of Science in Nursing required. Must hold an unencumbered RN license; Minnesota RN licensure required within 6 months of employment. Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred.

Earned a terminal degree and experience in Leadership, Higher Education, Research or Community College. 1+ year experience in teaching and leadership in a formal educational setting using both traditional and non-traditional teaching formats, higher education strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in successfully developing online/virtual professional relationships. Evidence of professional research and/or creative endeavors and expertise in the field.
