Doctorate in Nursing. Must hold active Minnesota RN License and certified AGNP. 2-3 years experience as an AGNP. Rasmussen University follows the requirements set by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and the states in which the campuses operate.

A doctorate in the relevant field of Education or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates who can consider diverse, and sometimes conflicting, perspectives are preferred. A demonstrated capacity and willingness to provide individualized instructional support and guidance to students is essential.

A minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in the specific subject matter field (doctorate preferred) for undergraduate courses and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in the subject matter field for graduate courses; and experience teaching similar courses at a higher education institute. Experience teaching online.

Doctoral degree with a focus in Psychology or related field required, PhD preferred. Research-based, scholarly, peer-reviewed journal article publications, required. Experience with the online delivery of education and the systems that support it, required. Graduate level qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or statistics teaching experience preferred. Experience as a member of a dissertation committee, preferably as the chair/advisor required.

Doctorate Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. Two (2) years of applicable professional experience, some of which must have been within the last 5 years. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' post licensure experience. Candidates must have a demonstration of professional identity through additional professional organization service, published research, professional presentations, and/or other scholarly activities within the last 7 years. Five (5) years of applicable professional experience, some of which must have been within the last 7 years.

Master of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Active, RN, multi-state unencumbered license. Current or prior documented teaching in an asynchronous, online format (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).

Applicants should hold a graduate degree in the relevant teaching discipline or a closely related field. Additional qualifications may be required depending on accreditation standards or departmental needs. Demonstrated expertise in the subject area. Commitment to teaching excellence.

Master's degree in aviation from a regionally accredited institution or related field. Verified experience in professional flight and/or aviation management required. 1 year of online, higher education teaching experience preferred.

A Master's degree or enrollment in a Ph.D. program in a relevant field of study is required. Online teaching experience is highly desirable. In addition to teaching, Instructors may be asked to participate in the development of web-based courses.

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor/Master’s degree in Distance Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology/Instructional Technology, Education or related field from a regionally accredited institution preferred. 1-2 years of professional experience in higher education preferred. Knowledge of distance education course development and best practices preferred. Understanding of Bloom’s Taxonomy and best practices in authentic assessment and grading rubrics for higher education levels preferred.
