A Master's degree in Cultural Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, Global Studies, Philosophy, Interdisciplinary Studies, Ethics, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution. At least 1 year of teaching experience in similar content at the high school level or above, or experience facilitating related group training.

The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree (e.g. PhD) in Environmental Data Analytics, Data Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, or a master’s degree with ample experience in the profession.

Masters degree or higher from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) required. A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area required. States of Ohio and Virginia require Master’s degree in the discipline OR a Master’s degree (any discipline) with 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework relevant to the discipline.

For undergraduate programs, a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the discipline to be taught, with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline) required.

Doctoral degree in a field related to the content of the academic program, as described. Five (5) years of recent and proven experience in a field related to the content of the academic program, as described below. One to three (1-3) years experience teaching and leading student projects with an emphasis on evidence-based practice. Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience teaching at the masters level with a proven track record of student success.

Online Learning Assistants provide learning support to students enrolled in a specific course in Canvas. OLAs have taken the course themselves and are now returning to the course to mentor and provide course support to currently enrolled students. As a member of the CTL team, employees attend mandatory weekly trainings focused on content designed to make them effective facilitators of student learning.

Master's degree in program field or related degree. Terminal degree preferred 3+ years of experience in university-level teaching. Preferred applicants also will have a demonstrated ability to deliver graduate-level, online course experiences that are valued by industry. 5+ years industry experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence and an ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity.

Doctorate in Humanities from a regionally accredited university. Undergraduate level faculty must have a minimum of two (2) years of industry and practical experience within the previous 10 years. At least two (2) years of higher education teaching experience or one (1) year of higher education online teaching experience.
