Minimum of a master’s degree in relevant English field (Doctorate preferred). Prior teaching experience preferred in an online environment. Proficient in the written and oral communication of the English language. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree in Emergency Management or related field (Terminal degree preferred) with the successful completion of at least 18 hours of directly related graduate coursework. Preference will be given to applicants with prior successful online teaching.

Doctorate (Ph.D., DBA, or similar) in a marketing, advertising, business analytics, communications or a related field of study from a regionally accredited institution or other appropriate accreditation as determined by Johnson & Wales University (ABD will be considered). Education or industry experience specialization in marketing and/or a related field.

PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision or closely related field required. Current enrollment in as CES program or ABD may qualify. Certificates, licenses and registrations: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed/Certified Professional School Counselor, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential, National Certified School Counselor (NCSC) credential. Approved Counseling Supervisor credential preferred.

Math Instructor must have a Master's Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in Mathematics.

The ideal candidates should have a Masters in the subject area. We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or Network Technology. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years experience working in the field of Information Technology. Online teaching experience is preferred.

Terminal degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with licensure is preferred. Except for special extenuating circumstances, such as extensive and recognized professional expertise and experience, Faculty shall possess professional experience related to the mentoring assignment and an accredited college degree equal to or higher than the degree sought by the assigned Learner, and a minimum of three years of online teaching experience. Previous experience with online instruction and learning management systems is required, in particular Canvas LMS, is preferred.

Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline). The minimum requirement is 18 graduate hours in diversity, equity, and inclusion courses such as Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Ethnic Studies, Black Studies, etc. and/or 18 graduate hours in Sociology.

A master's degree is required for all faculty positions (with 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught). Qualifying credentials must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Administration, or by an international institution determined to hold equivalent accreditation. Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply. Faculty must have requisite subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.
