Terminal degree is required. Teaching experience is preferred. Minimum of 3 years business experience preferred. Must be able to work with diverse populations. Must support the mission of Bluefield University. Teaching experience is preferred, and online teaching experience is preferred for online courses.

MSW from a CSWE accredited program with five years post-masters practice experience. Conferred Doctoral degree in social work or related field. Two years online/hybrid teaching experience in social work or related field or two years professional training and consultation in social work. Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level. Understand and articulate social work from a biblical worldview.

Doctorate in Systems Engineering OR Doctorate in related engineering discipline with engineering management, systems experience, and industry experience.

Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, PsyD) in sport and performance psychology, clinical mental health counseling, sport science, health science, or related field. Evidence of completed research. Current membership and participation in appropriate state, regional, and national professional organizations appropriate to SPP. Evidence of publication, presentation, and continuing education in sport and performance psychology and/or clinical counseling. Proficiency with data analysis software (qualitative and/or qualitative).

Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer-Based Information Systems or a computer-related field from an accredited college or university. A minimum of three (3) years non-teaching work experience in the field. Two (2) years teaching in an online environment.

Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field. Expertise in Enterprise Data Strategy, Analytics Leadership, and Data Governance, including designing and scaling analytical functions, developing data and AI Governance Frameworks, and aligning analytic initiatives with organizational strategy, ethical practice, and sustainability goals. At least 1 year of teaching or training experience (preferably online/asynchronous). Minimum 1 year experience developing asynchronous online courses for adult learners in higher education.

Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Computer Science, Data Science, or Software Engineering or related field. Expertise across the full data science lifecycle, including data engineering, analytics, modeling, ethical AI practices, and deployment. Experience advising or leading team based applied projects that deliver production-ready analytics or AI solutions. At least 1 year of teaching or training experience (preferably online/asynchronous). Minimum 1 year experience developing asynchronous online courses for adult learners in higher education.

Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Computer Science, Data Science, or Software Engineering or AI Related fields. Experience applying LLMs in Enterprise or Analytics contexts, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and responsible deployment of LLM-Based systems for analytics and or decision support. At least 1 year of teaching or training experience (preferably online/asynchronous).

Master's Degree from an accredited university with 18 hours in the subject area taught.

Qualified candidates must possess one of the following credentials: A master’s degree in Accounting. A master’s degree in field (e.g. MBA, MS Management) with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A master’s degree (any field) with a valid CPA license.
