For undergraduate programs, a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the discipline to be taught, with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline) required. Experience in instruction or formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution. Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred.

Doctorate or field’s terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning. Demonstrated scholarship and/or accomplishments in the field. Relevant supervision and teaching experience. Commitment to multicultural and humanistic principles. Knowledge of higher education best practices.

Masters degree or higher in a related program of study from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) required. A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area required. A minimum of three years of work experience as an educator preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree (e.g. PhD) in environmental health and wellness, biopsychology, psychophysiology, or integrative wellness or related discipline or a master’s degree with ample experience in the profession. Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
