An earned terminal degree in the discipline or a related field (master’s degree required, doctoral degree preferred). Previous professional experience working in the field of conservation law enforcement or criminal justice. Prior experience in online course design and instruction in higher education (preferred). Effective communication skills to convey subject matter clearly. Strong organizational and time management skills. Commitment to providing innovative and engaging online education.

A Master’s degree in Communication, Communication Studies, Speech Communication, Speech, or a closely related field or a Master’s degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate credits in required in Communication, Communication Studies, Speech Communication, Speech, or a closely related field. Experience in facilitating online learning classes preferred and two (2) years prior teaching experience required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Qualified candidate need to possess a Juris Doctorate. Online teaching experience preferred.
